My How They've Grown

It's been 7 weeks since the girls were born, and they're probably about double their birth weight. It's already hard to believe they were so small. Here are some pictures from week 1. (Top photo is Lyla, bottom is Isabelle).

We had a wonderful holiday season and first few weeks of the year, surrounded by family. Maya, Dunigan and Roan have since embarked on their holiday and their move to Mumbai, and we miss them terribly already. Expecially little Roan-poan and his obsession with the car and washing machine.

Soon Tata Oriane and Mami Genevieve will be here. We are really lucky to have such an awesome family!

Girls a Growin'

While we haven't been doing much different (meaning feeding and burping and changing), it is amazing how these little ones have changed so much in the past week. We are pretty sure they are over five pounds now, which I think would put them in the super itsy bitsy junior micro-welterweight division if they were boxers. But they are way more alert, communicating with Mom and Pop (deeply, through eye staring), and getting to know one another. There are times I wish I could fast forward a year or two ahead just to see what their little personalities will be, but then I realize how valuable these times are too. I am going back to work next week and I am already missing them.

We had our first outing today - an exciting walk around the block. The massive shopping cart we are pushing is actually a Double Snap-And-Go with two car seats, all designed to haul 8 pounds of precious cargo.
